Quebec City - last day, a road tour

I'm not typically a fan of bus tours, but I didn't want to miss the opportunity to see all the different neighborhoods in the city.  This was a great way to see the original streets as well as the more modern structures.  Some neighborhoods had old mixed right in with the new.  I recommend taking this tour.  It cost $41 for an hour and half ride with a little history, architecture, and civic pride thrown in.

Here are some snaps of the tour:

Oldest restaurant in town

This fountain is a celebration of the ice breakers who travel down the St. Lawrence River in the winter

Note the ladders on the roof - to help in the winter when workmen need to climb roofs to rid them of snow.

  1. Thanks Lynn. I've only seen one other walled city and that was in Lucca Italy. This city was larger and more cosmopolitan.
